Hello from southern Minnesota!
It's been a tough... almost half a year since 2025 started. I have some news.
First and foremost, hi, my mom passed away in December. She'd been battling cancer for a long time, and I miss her dearly. I was pretty much out of the writing game for the first two months of this year as a result.
In April, my friend Reinhardt challenged me to try to write a short book in 2 weeks. I failed to do that, but I ended up finishing that book, and it's out as of last Friday.
I know. right?
Bad author! For shame, not telling the people who signed up to know about new releases that another tale is out.
It's called Waterskin.
Waterskin is perhaps the best introduction to the wide universe of my books as I could manage. It's an adventure across a modern Earth with fantastical elements hidden under every stone.
Oh, and the hero and heroines are travelers from beyond.
A four-book series is in the works, then who knows?
Here is a link to the book: https://mybook.to/waterskin
I'm still working on my epic fantasy that ties in with the Tales of Khoma short stories. That book should be out in Late September or early October, and features Ancient Egyptian-meets-Feudal Japanese fantasy vibes.
Stay tuned for that.
Thanks for reading.
I'll write again when there is news.
