Hello lovely readers!
I have exciting news! I've joined forces with an incredible group of authors to bring you small-town romance set in Collier's Creek.
With six couples and six low-angst romances, there are six reasons to fall in love...
Each book is stand-alone, but if you enjoy swoon-worthy romances and trope-y goodness set in a small town, then stay a while. You'll fall in love with the men of Collier's Creek.
The series releases weekly between September 26th and October 31st. Keep an eye out for the first cover reveal taking place on September 4th.
We can't wait for you to visit Collier's Creek and meet our six incredible couples.
My contribution to the Collier's Creek series is Blue Skies. I'm excited for you to meet Felix and Kit.
Coming to Collier’s Creek is one of the best decisions they’ll ever make.
Kit has lost everyone he’s ever loved. First his parents, leading to a childhood passed from uncaring relative to uncaring relative, then finally foster care. When his long-term boyfriend dies in an accident, the grief is overwhelming and two years later, he’s still affected by the loss. With mounting pressure to finish the last book in his best-selling series, Kit heads to the mountains, hoping the solitude and change of scenery will help him overcome his writer’s block.
Felix was born in Collier’s Creek and had no intention of returning to the small town. But life has other ideas. After a nasty breakup and losing his job, the opportunity to manage the coffee shop of an old friend is too good to pass up. After all, it’s only for a short time while his friend travels for six months, and then he can head back to the city and start afresh.
When Kit rents the cabin next door to Felix, his positivity is a breath of fresh air, and Kit’s grumpy exterior begins to crack. He imagines living life again, and Felix features in most of those daydreams. He needs to shut down that line of thought immediately—he’s here to finish his cozy mystery, not rewrite his own love story. That chapter is closed.
Felix is drawn to the mysterious older man who says he wants nothing from him than conversation. But the sizzling looks hint at a lot more. Now he needs to convince Kit to ignore the town gossip about their age gap and theories about Kit’s past, and to give them a chance. If Felix has his way, they’ll find the happy ending they’ve both been searching for.
Blue Skies is a romance between a grumpy author and a barista full of sunshine who find love in the small town of Collier’s Creek.
Get to know all six authors by joining Collier's Creek: Small-Town MM Romance Facebook group. Every member in the group will be automatically entered in a giveaway and TWO winners will be drawn on Friday 11th August.
Gift: 6 x ebooks (1 from each author's backlist)
Finally, I'll leave you with a few other books from my wonderful author friends to consider while you wait for Blue Skies. Both are small-town romances.
Check out Brown-Eyed Boy by BL Maxwell.
Lance and Billie met and fell in love over their mutual love of food and their drive to have a successful business in the small town of Stoney Brook Maine. Both are driven to succeed, but now it’s time for a vacation, a real vacation.
Billie plans a trip to Dublin, Ireland to explore Lance’s Irish roots, he takes a little convincing. But when Billie tells him they’ll be spending time with an uncle who also runs a small café, it’s more than Lance can resist.
They spend their days trying new foods, exploring ancient wonders, and meeting more new relatives than either of them could have imagined. And at an ancient castle, Lance discovers that everything he needs is right in front of him.
What starts as a vacation ends up being life changing, and something Lance and Billie will never forget.
Check out Summer Boy by TL Travis
Summer romance is not for those who are led by their heart.
For Jonah Thomas, life is wake up, eat breakfast, go to work at his family’s restaurant Ahoy Matey’s. Lather, rinse, repeat. Next! His hometown, the sleepy little Stoney Brook, Maine, doesn’t offer much for someone like Jonah.
He’s not really living and has no clear path in front of him. Jonah merely…exists.
Party boy, Micah Hannigan is determined to enjoy the summer before his final year of college. Stoney Brooke, Maine is not on his bucket list. Two weeks there with his family is a life sentence, especially when his friends are living it up on the beaches of Florida where he should be.
Micah has plans, lots of them but he’d never factored in meeting the beautiful and intriguing Jonah Thomas.
It’s crazy how love always finds a way when you least expect it.
Happy reading,
Nic xx
