, I feel on top of the world! I just spent a week off of work where my main activity was spiritual goal setting and strategizing my next 12 months. I feel so much more empowered with a plan in place, even though in life we know, “Man plans and God laughs.” Clarifying your intention is a form of prayer that marshals energy and makes things happen. Who, me? I’m just minding my business and waiting…on edits, cover designs, and even the winds of fate it feels like sometimes. There are many moving pieces involved in taking a work from final draft to live ebook and paperback. But that, while it creates times that can have a bit of a stuck feeling to them, is what keeps things fresh and exciting and myself well-rounded. So, things are…in progress. Last week I plotted out Charming Disguises—my first time ever completing the plot before I started writing—and this week I am (drumroll please…) actually back to writing! It feels good to let the creative juices flow and have their say as I continue to bring Regina Grant to life. Speaking of The Regina Grant Mysteries, let’s give it up for Angela Lansbury. She was a giant of stage, screen, song, and the actress behind the craze that was Murder, She Wrote. This was the inspiration for my mystery series and I give her spirit a special thank you for her wonderful influence on me.
