OK, Fall Is Actually Kinda Cool
, I am changing my perspective from being mopey about the shorter days to really appreciating the Autumn season in all its glory. This picture is the view out my window where I write—whenever my cat, Jelly Belly, decides to get out of the way, that is😏. Look at those reds, oranges, greens, and yellows. God’s natural world is amazing and all I had to do was look up to see it. I’m still employing my light therapy lamp at night, but now I’m enjoying this part of our journey through the seasons a whole lot more.
Nanowrimo (AKA National Novel Writing Month) Is Almost Here!
That crisp Fall air, November’s right around the corner, I can almost taste it. November means one thing—at least to indie writers—Nanowrimo! I first encountered Nanowrimo last year through the writing groups I was a part of. The goal is to write 50,000 words (the minimum to be considered novel-length) in a month. It inspires a doubling down on your craft and includes going through sometimes Herculean effort to carve out more writing time from your days and nights. But that passion can birth something really special. I am looking forward to doubling down on myself next month and recommitting to my craft.
What In the World Is She Doing?
I’m finishing up Charming Disguises. I also have my voice acting crash course this week from a pretty well-known voice actor. I’m actually a little nervous!😬 Lots of things are cooking for November release: Annointing, Sinnerman (in audio even!), and The Joy of the LORD Is My Strength: 90 Days of Prayer. Stay tuned!
