So Far, SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)-Free!

, have you seen how dark it’s getting at night lately?! I am serious when I say I can’t even. But, I have managed to walk into the Fall with my head held high and I am not going to stop now—I may be putting my pajamas on a whole lot earlier, though🤣. I am trying to look at the time shift as beloved moon season as opposed to the end of all life as I know it. If you haven't made time, give some attention to our gorgeous moon, she’s been giving us a ton of looks lately and I am here for it. If I can’t have as much sunshine as I want, I’ll take a resplendent moon for company until Spring.

You Can’t Rush Artists

A funny thing happened on the way to paint the cover to Anointing, Book Two of the To Wake and Sleep No More series—we didn’t love it. My lovely Mom 2.0 is my cover artist and we could see where we wanted to go for the cover but not how to get there. So, I gave my mom permission to start over. It will delay the release some but it will still get out this year and this time our vision is going to own the cover. I can’t wait to share the finished product with you. Put something to the side for a December book gift to yourself and a friend.😁

What In the World Is She Doing?

I have found and am embracing my chill, thank you for asking. I got the chance to do my goal-setting for the next 12 months and it has given me a real sense of peace in my life that I am trying to enjoy to the fullest. I’m still writing Charming Disguises, A Regina Grant Mystery, but what I thought was a follow-up novella is really growing in size and scope! I’ll keep writing and we’ll see what Regina has to say! I go to the recording studio next week to start getting the audiobook of Sinnerman, Where You Gonna Run to? in the can (is that what producer types say?🤣) Hopefully two two hour sessions should be all the time I need. It is so exciting to do something new!
