It’s Conferences All the Way Down

, have you seen the last of my chill? I seem to have lost it. It was nobody’s fault, the first conference was great and the next conference should be great (I planned it after all), but it is A LOT on my plate. I have not even had time to write in the last week and a half and I feel the absence mightily. The good news is my supervisor gave me an unscheduled week off after seeing how frazzled I was. I can almost taste that time off and it will fix whatever’s ailing me. I’ll be knee-deep in plotting and character development again before you know it! Did You Know Nixon Was, Indeed, a Crook?😆

I am not the best student of history, but there’s still time to change that. Here is a book I came across that is actually written in an accessible and engaging way where I don’t get overwhelmed by the many, many details. That man was a capital C crook! This is a good book that included troves of newly released documents that help to make an old story feel fresh. Check it out here.

I made my goal last week!🥳 I finished revising Sinnerman and it goes to the copy editor on Monday. I just have to lock in the final cover art and it will be ready to spread to the masses. I’m so excited for you to read it and tell me what you think.
