Hi everyone! I am writing this from my weeklong writing retreat in Branson, MO. I’m here with 13 other fabulous writers and the focus every day is on the craft. There is much to love about the author life and I am having all the feels right now. There is nothing like investing in yourself and doing what you love. I am very blessed to be here and hope to have more writing to share with the world soon!

Introducing The Regina Grant Mysteries

I am starting a new series! Think Father Ted meets Murder She Wrote, but in a more noir style. This will be a series of short stories/novella murder mysteries and I already have the first mystery, Sinnerman, Where You Gonna Run To, in the final stages of editing and I am starting to focus on the cover art. In the meantime, here’s the plot line for the series:

Baptist minister and amateur sleuth Regina Grant fights injustice by solving crimes with boldness, grit, and faith, all while being a pastor and looking for a man.

And of course I ALWAYS want to hear about what you’re reading. I tried to listen to A for Aunties because it was recommended to me, but the plot was so out there that I just couldn’t finish it. Next up on my list is Boys Come First, so I’ll let you know what I think.
