It’s been a minute, and Neurodynamic Network's 2025 has been busy as the need to advocate for neurodivergent service members has grown significantly.
Developing our Mission
Our team has been working to sharpen our non-profit’s strategy, grow our network, and help us mature at a sustainable pace.
Earlier this month, our Executive Director, Shale Norwitz was voted by his cohort of 29 veterans to receive the Marvin Malikow Award for "leadership, mentorship, and support of fellow participants" during his week-long intensive at Syracuse University's competitive Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV), through their Institute for Veterans & Military Families (IVMF).
Shale is also is back from Ithaca, NY, where he spent one week with 50 outstanding classmates from all corners of the globe, for their week-long intensive, as part of their 18-month Exec. Masters of Public Administration degree program at Cornell University.
Advocacy in Action
In May, we briefed our meta-analysis on Neurodiversity at Cornell's Systems Thinking Conference, conducted in partnership with Drs. Derek & Laura Cabrera and their team at Cabrera Lab.
Also in May, we were invited to brief at Edward Jones in St. Louis, to an audience of over 2,000, where engagement was off the charts, and we received some warm notes of recognition from the head of the firm, Ms. Penny Pennington!

We’re kicking off a monthly get-together, starting on 25 Sep. There we’ll host a structured conversation about topics relevant to the community and engage in some good ol’ fashioned camaraderie.
