Hello from Belgium,
We survived our move…barely.
My arms and legs are sore. But with all the floods that hit Belgium Europe (and other parts of the world btw). Thankfully, we live outside of the disaster area.
My 2 oldest, my husband and I worked as volunteers last Sunday to clean out basements and first floors of several houses. It was a humbling experience.
Here’s a pic of our team that worked together. My kids are the two on the left wearing a dark blue and burgundy baseball cap. My husband is the one with his arm around me and his green cap – LOL.
These three are golden and are returning again tomorrow to do more work.
I, on the other hand, hope to get some writing done.
I have been thinking about something fun when it comes to romance. I’ve been thinking about…KISSING.
Do you like lots of kissing in the books you read? If so, how heated do you like those kisses?
As you may well know, I love to add a lot of heat, all the while keeping it clean, meaning no sex or clothes taken off. Unless it’s a pool scene and the guy has ripped abs. 😝 I can’t keep that from you, now, can I? 😜
I still remember struggling to write my first kiss scene and agonizing over it. Now, it comes to me so naturally, I need to keep track to not add too many. Are there ever too many? 🙈
What I enjoy the most, though, is building up the tension and leading in to that first kiss. Maybe have that moment broken off a few times to make it achingly sweet when it finally does happen. Do you love it when I do that, or hate me for it?
Tell me, what is your favorite couple/kiss?
Hit me with a reply, and let’s chat. I need all the inspiration at the moment as I finish off Mia and Josh’s story.
Have a great weekend,
Mx
