How are you doing? Getting excited for the holidays?

I’m super excited to celebrate 2 birthdays in our family this week. My oldest daughter is turning 18 and my oldest son is turning 16. How did I get old enough to have an adult as a child?

I also put up my Christmas tree. My kids—or I should say, my oldest—love to have the tree up by her birthday. Got to keep that tradition going.

I went all out this year and got the biggest one I could find. The ceiling in our living room is super high, so why not? 😊

This week I’ve been thinking a lot about what I am grateful for this season.

I’m grateful for my husband and kids, my home where I feel at home, the Christmas season that is approaching, the new people I’ve met that have colored my life with love and joy, and so many other things.

I’m also grateful for you. The fun replies you send me, the feedback on book questions and other weird things I ask you. You have made a difference in my life.
