Some people celebrate Father's and Mother's Day once a year. If you're lucky, and a parent (I know, an oxymoron), you get to celebrate each 365 days a year, with one extra day on Leap Year.

So whoever you are, wherever you are, celebrate your parents. They may be alive or gone, you may like them or not, you may know them well or not at all...

But they "got together" and made YOU.

So really, both days are a celebration of you :)

Be selfish. Give them a hug. Call them. It will make you feel better.

And in so doing, it might make them feel better, too.
