Tough call. On the one hand, the economy is rip-roarin'! It grew at an annualized rate last quarter of 6.5 percent. And have you seen gas prices lately?

Try to buy a car. You almost can't. Dealerships have consolidated inventory, putting all their cars in one lot, while dozens sit empty.

That's demand, right there. The US saving rate is the highest it's been in decades.

But COVID isn't paying the economy any attention. It has its own goals. And they aren't good.

In all honesty, a virus doesn't really want to kill its hosts. It just wants to perpetuate itself. Dead hosts can't pass along new variants.

But kill it does. And it's BAAAACCCKKK!

The Covid-19 vaccine has become so polarizing that some people in Missouri are getting inoculated in secret for fear of backlash from their friends and family who oppose vaccination, a doctor told CNN Wednesday.

“They've had some experience that's sort of changed their mind from the viewpoint of those in their family, those in their friendship circles or their work circles. And they came to their own decision that they wanted to get a vaccine,” said Dr. Priscilla Frase, a hospitalist and chief medical information officer at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri.

Imagine that: You take advice from your dumbfuck cousin over the counsel of actual medical experts.

Like the infamous "they" say: You can't fix stupid.
