Morning Sixpack - Happy Hump Day Edition!
Mar 31, 2021 8:01 pm
Hello!
Today, I feel like we're going back in time...connect the dots to see if you know what I mean.
It's very subtle, so you may miss it. I'll explain at the bottom.
“Grahambo”
LOL. What my former US House Representative Eric Swalwell called Lindsey Graham after the good old southern boy said, “I own an AR-15. If there's a natural disaster in South Carolina where the cops can't protect my neighborhood, my house will be the last one that the gang will come to, because I can defend myself.”
Sure, buddy.

Some COVID-19 good news!
Well, maybe.
Preliminary findings of a study conducted by Israeli health authorities show there is no coronavirus variant currently in the country that is resistant to vaccines, Channel 12 reported Sunday evening.
This is good but it's certainly not definitive. Here in the US, some COVID-19 variants represent up to 52 percent of known infections. I don't know how many we've vaccinated compared to Israel. IF they've vaccinated 80 to 90 percent or more, then we have hope that the vaccines we have here will be effective in guarding against getting and transmitting any of the variants.
And that's a good thing!

Why did I say it felt like I was going back in time?
As a marketer (that is what I am), I try various things. WRT this newsletter, I'm watching subscriber rates, open rates, and click rates. I'm also watching to see how many subscribers (and non-subscribers) visit the website.
What I've noticed is a sharp drop off in traffic to the website.
Why? Because I've been including the entire Morning Sixpack in these emails to you. And why would you go to the website if you've already read the whole thing?
In short, why buy the cow when you get the milk for free? Or something like that...
So I decided to change things back to the way they were: Sharing a snippet or two of the post in the email and hoping you click this link right here to go to the website.
If you must know, the more visitors I get to the website, the better my chances of landing sponsorships and advertisements.
And that's what's going to keep these newsletters coming!
Make it a great day!
Bill
