Big Baby Athletes Are Skeert of the COVID Vaccine
Oct 06, 2021 9:19 pm
October 6, 2021 The Morning Sixpack - Congress is set to "talk" about the debt ceiling again, but the Republicans want no part of it. They want to be able to blame the Democrats for the soaring debt incurred under Donald Trump.
Of course, we'll roll up right to the deadline and in the literal eleventh hour, Congress will pass some bullsit resolution to kick the can down the road a couple months and then we'll do it all again.
Abolish.Debt.Ceiling.Now.
That's the answer. There is nothing about the debt ceiling that makes it mandatory or necessary. In fact, it may actually be unconstitutional. I've written about this before. Here's a great summary of the many ways to deal with this.

In other news, there are a lot of current and former athletes who won't take the COVID vaccine or were very hesitant about taking it until they realized Homey wasn't playin' that shit and it affected them right in the wallet.
Mike Tyson and Andrew Wiggins are two of the most recent "I was forced to get it because I want to remain rich" super studs who may in fact just be duds.
Mike Tyson said he has been vaccinated for COVID-19 but ‘didn’t do it willingly'
Mike Tyson said he has been vaccinated for COVID-19, but the legendary boxer sounded compelled to share something about his decision to get the shot.
“I didn’t do it willingly,” Tyson told USA TODAY Sports during an interview at his cannabis company. “I’m a little apprehensive of that. I was pretty much beaten into submission to do this because I travel internationally. And if I don’t travel, we don’t eat.
“So I decided to take the risk and take the shot. And people, they have their own choice. I never got sick.’’
Such a tough guy who's put a LOT of actual bad things in his body is afraid of a proven-safe and effective vaccine that will go down in history as having saved humanity…

Andrew Wiggins Says He Felt ‘Forced' To Get Vaccine, ‘You Don't Own Your Body'
Andrew Wiggins is making it clear — he did NOT want to take the COVID vaccine … telling media members Monday he felt like the NBA and the government “forced” him into getting the shots.
“The only options were to get vaccinated or not play in the NBA,” Wiggins said. “It was a tough decision. Hopefully, it works out in the long run and in 10 years I'm still healthy.”
The Golden State Warriors forward had fought tooth and nail to avoid getting the jab … even at one point applying for a religious exemption with the NBA.
But, that was denied … and with health officials in the Bay Area requiring anyone 12 or older to be fully vaxxed to attend indoor events — Wiggins said he felt like he had no other choice but to take the vaccine.
“It's not something I wanted to do,” Wiggins said after Golden State's preseason game Monday night. “But I was kind of forced to.”
He added, “I guess to do certain stuff — to work and all that — I guess you don't own your body. That's what it comes down to. You want to work in society today, then I guess they make the rules on what goes in your body and what you do.”
Despite getting the vax … Wiggins told reporters he's hopeful others don't feel as much pressure as he did to take the shots.
I guess he knows how women feel now?
Soapbox time: Let's see. He's mad that he had to get a vaccine. Does he get mad when the coach orders an extra practice? Does he get mad at the team PT when she tells him to ice his injury? See, what happens when you work for somebody else is they get to tell you what their expectations are. If you don't like them, you sever your relationship.
His problem? He plays basketball and earns a lot of money. He can't go to another league and fare nearly as well. So he has a choice. It's his choice though.
Andrew Wiggins seems like an overgrown baby.
