Twenty years...for what?

The US spent considerable time, resources, and blood in Afghanistan, for seemingly nothing.

Now, we've announced our intention to be out by September 11, 2021 (20 years after 9/11)...and the Taliban has already nearly taken over the country.

I think we need to re-examine our foreign policy. It ain't working.

In other news, a toddler shot his mother. She died. It seems Dad left a loaded gun in the reach of a child without a safety lock.

Darwin at work. Sad, yes, but totally 100 percent preventable. How's that kid going to feel when he realizes he killed his mother?
