A personal note: After having not been exposed to any germs over the past 2 and 1/2 years, my family has all been sick with a "cold" (i.e., proven "not COVID") the past week or so.

I think wearing masks all this time let our immune systems down, and now, all of a sudden (coinciding with mask requirements in schools ending), the kids are bringing home the "normal" illnesses...
