Get vaccinated. Don't get on a ventilator. Not kidding. No joke.

Hi there,
Here's my weekly update for July 18th, 2021 from the Twitterverse...
I'm not kidding about the vaccine and ventilators. My good friend's brother got COVID a second time. The first time, he and his wife got really sick. This was early on at the start. March 2020 if I remember correctly. They think they got it in SeaTac, which is where I think I was exposed to it, too, just earlier, in February.
(Remember, the first mini wave of COVID deaths and infections happened right here in the Pacific Northwest.)
But that was nothin' compared to what Bill is suffering now. Luckily, this time his wife didn't get it.
Bill, however, wasn't so lucky. He's been in the ICU since mid- to late-June.
On a ventilator. He got taken off a couple nights ago, only to be intubated yet again that same day.
He did not get the vaccine because he's healthy as a horse. If I told you his last name, you may know him. If you googled him, you'd surely know.
Let's just say he's a health nut and is world-famous for it. He's sold a gazillion books.
Yet, he's nearly been killed twice from COVID.
GET VACCINATED.
Of course, you can still get COVID even with a vaccination. And it's true, some vaccinated folks have died.
But their odds are better than the unvaccinated.
The CDC reported a couple of weeks ago that something like 99 percent plus of all DEATHS attributed to COVID were among the unvaccinated.
Don't be Bill. I'm dead serious (I'm not sure if that pun is intended; it's certainly NOT funny).
