Yep. I'm going on vacation. And since the Morning Sixpack Monkey is always by my side, he's going on vacay, too.

So there won't be another Morning Sixpack until 2022. Sad.

But that doesn't mean the news stops! No siree. Just as the sun always rises and #TFG still lives, so, too, does the news.

I've set up the blog to continually post newsworthy--well--news every day, whether me or the monkey are working.

We do this for you :)

Today's Morning Sixpack is all about...the same things as every other day in 2021, it seems. (It's like we're in an IRL Groundhog Day.)

COVID will be in the news for the next infinity years, and omicron has stolen the thunder from delta. Over 70 percent of new cases in the US are omicron.

There is a very good story in this morning's Sixpack about the mask you choose to wear when you go out in public. Use an N95 or equivalent. The omicron shit sticks around in the air for hours.

So you don't even have to be near anybody infected to get it.
