What It Means To Work On Yourself

Hi ,
A lot of you ask me about how to work on yourself and I hope this email sheds some light on this.
Everyone is a work in progress, we all have something to work on. There is always an area we want to improve on as no one is 100 there.
There are 5 main areas when it comes to personal development.
Your Mental, Emotional, Social, Spiritual and Physical aspects of life and well-being.
If one of these areas is left behind, other area will suffer . If you work on every other area and neglect your emotional aspect, then this emotional aspect will pull you behind.
Working on yourself is looking at where you are at in those 5 aspects, then look at the area of your life that is pulling you behind and start working on it.
Do you get emotional and start shouting at people and insulting them? Do you get emotional and start doing things that are not a representation of who you want to be?
When it comes to your mental space, do you get overly sad or anxious over things that probably you can work through ?
You could be good when it comes to managing stress, managing your emotions but probably have neglected your physical body. This will mess with your confidence, self esteem and even your health.
How is your social life? Are your relationships messy?Do you have crazy relationships with family members or with a significant other? etc
How about your spiritual life? Do you believe in a super power ? What's your relationship with God? Do you believe in a power that you can surrender your cares to?
Just start making baby steps in each area to improve yourself.
If your relationships are not working because you have no communication skills or you have emotions all over and you are writing everything on your social media then you know you have something to work on.
Working on yourself is basically working towards becoming the best version of yourself.
You have a higher version of you and a lower version. That moment you feel so unworthy, you hate life and have no energy, you are operating as your lower version. While that time you feel energetic, happy and you are loving life, you are in your highest self. The goal is to stretch yourself to see how high and wide you can spread your wings and be at your best version.
Working on yourself is the best feeling because you go through life confidently regardless whether things are working your way or not. It's not a one day thing but it's all worth it.
