I understand the struggle of dating all too well. I struggled, too—so much, in fact, that I didn't understand the basics and rules of dating, especially coming from a background where none of these things were taught.

I remember going on a date with a guy who, at first glance, seemed perfect—handsome, well-dressed—but as the date went on, I could tell something was wrong. His attitude, how he talked, how he treated me, being on his phone the whole time—it all felt off. Driving back home, I remember wondering if this is what dating was supposed to be like. I realized then that while he looked good, his behavior was not what I wanted in a relationship.

If you're struggling with dating, know that I've been there, too. I understand the struggle. It took time, but I eventually learned how to navigate the dating world—how to carry myself, the dos and don'ts, and most importantly, how to date with purpose.

Dating isn't just about liking someone because they look good or because you like each other; it's about having a goal, a vision for the kind of relationship you want. I remember how hard it was to let go, to stop hanging on to someone who wasn't right for me. It wasn't until I realized my own value that I could own my power to walk away.
