What makes you happy ?
Everybody is working towards being happy. We are looking to get a boyfriend to be happy, we are looking to get a girlfriend to be happy, we are looking to get married to be happy. We are looking to leave a marriage to be happy. We are looking to make more money to be happy . Everybody is striving to be happy and get to that state of happiness.
But what really makes you happy ?
How do you know you are enjoying your life?
Here are a few things I have found to bring happiness into my life.
Happiness is enjoying life and having the desire to make the best out of life.
That fulfilment of living your life fully.
Some people are naturally happy but for some of us, we have to cultivate it because happiness is a choice.
Happiness is really upto us.
Why do we need to be happy?
Happy people enjoy life more, they make better decisions, they enjoy good relationships .
They look at the positive side of life and are more resilient to situations.
I am more happy when I do what I love to do. Find what you love to do, what you are passionate about and do it more often so you can be happy more times.
Going to the gym, this is something that energizes me and I feel some level of fulfilment when I complete a gym session. For you it could be some other form of exercise.
Reflecting, having time for myself, I love my personal time. You can begin creating healthy alone time for yourself and see how that works magic for your mental and emotional wellness.
Having good relationships with people. Cultivate a good relationship with your loved ones.
Friends, family members and love relationships. Good relationships, give good vibes and joy.
Create good relationships that give you that social fulfilment and happiness.
Being grateful for what I have. You may wake up feeling terrible but you can chose to go back to a state of gratitude.
Practice gratitude and have a gratitude list that you can always go back to when you want to boost your happiness.
Setting goals and achieving them. Follow through with your goals so they can always give you a sense of fulfilment and happiness once you hit them.
I believe practicing these things will ensure a more happier life for you.
