Are we building or destroying the Ummah

Have ever given it a thought?
For years, Muslims have been waiting for others to help us build the institutions, infrastructures, and systems we desperately need.
We thought that by accepting funds from various non-Muslim organizations, we were securing a future for the Ummah. But in reality, we were making a grave mistake.
This reliance led many to think that these entities were genuinely interested in helping Islam flourish. But the truth is far from it.
Just think about it. Do you believe Shaytan would give a Muslim money to promote the work of Allah?
They have their own agendas, often hidden, using these gestures as a means to weaken our resolve and steer us away from the true Islamic path.
This won't be obvious to you until you reach the point of no return.
And the implication of this?
A community slowly imploding from within, not because of external forces but because we trusted those who never had our best interests at heart.
This is how the mistake manifests—thinking that someone else will carry out the responsibilities Allah has placed upon us.
But here's the pivotal truth: no one, except us Muslims, will help the Ummah fulfill its duties.
We must take charge, building our own systems, institutions, and tools that align with Islamic values and ensure our independence.
Why is reliance on others a mistake?
Because it allows others to subtly dictate our direction, eroding the very foundation of our faith.
Instead of relying on outsiders, the solution lies in our own hands.
By establishing and supporting our own infrastructures and institutions, we ensure that the Ummah can thrive without external interference.
I call this the "Self-Sustained Ummah" approach.
It works because it empowers us to create a future that is purely Islamic, free from hidden agendas and external manipulation.
That is why you, as an individual, have to buckle up and embrace entrepreneurship as a Muslim.
This is the only way we can build the wealth needed to preserve, protect, and enhance the Ummah without any sneakily deceptive external support.
The Ummah is nobody other than you and me. You play your part, and I, mine.
The consistent quality and quantity of your inputs will gradually sum up to have positive ripple effects on the global Ummah.
Never belittle your own contributions to the Ummah, however small they may be. If you have never intentionally started doing anything for the Ummah, this is your time to do it.
Do not wait for others to do your duties.
Do not wait for Western governments or NGOs to sponsor your programs.
Learn how to generate wealth and use it wisely to create all the necessary infrastructures, institutions, and systems the Ummah in your community needs to live the Islamic lifestyle.
Allah enjoined the Prophet in the Quran to inform us:
Tell ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Do as you will. Your deeds will be observed by Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the seen and unseen, then He will inform you of what you used to do.” Q 9: 105
