Yesterday I told you about how I got to be able to consistently produce quality dawah content. 

And it pains me because the technology that helps me today was not readily and easily available over 10 years ago. 

You see in 2014 after finishing my postgraduate studies in journalism, I went straight to start my dawah journalism start up. 

I would write from morning till evening, including weekends. It had a great toll on my relationship. 

I was not paying attention to my newly wedded wife. I was so much in love with my dawah journalism. I got burned out every. single. day.  

I was working from my bedroom. 

Every week I would write and publish an article. I knew I couldn't do it alone. But I didn't have the resources to hire writers. 

So, I called for volunteers whom I could train in dawah journalism while they wrote for the magazine. Long story short, it didn't work. 

Problem was, the time it took to edit and correct (let me say re-write submissions from volunteers was better used to write fresh top quality article from scratch). It wasn't worth the stress.

The people, the tech side (a good story for another time) made it all impossible. I had to put it to an end. 

In hindsight, I wish the tech we have today was available at the time. 

Because I would write the content of a whole magazine that reflect my voice and thoughts myself in less than one week without help from anyone.
