However, I want to let you know that in an effort to keep your site secure and avoid any issues with website compliance, I'll be reviewing privacy policies on all my clients' sites. If you don't have one yet, I'll set it up and add the link to the new page under your contact page or in the footer, depending on where it displays best.
If you're unsure what a privacy policy is or why you need one, it's a page that documents how a site collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal data of its visitors. This is a requirement for legal compliance and building user trust.
It's important that all sites have this policy in place to avoid any legal issues, especially in states like CA & NY.
