Some great answers - and a disruptive construction project

Dear praying friends,
Thank you for praying is through a very busy week! Our book is launched, we had a nice conversation evening - in which a non Christian artist was frequently referencing the Bible, which is amazing spiritual movement!!
And then, get this - a long time friend of ours through our gallery work came to our book launch with a friend of hers. During the evening, this friend pulled me aside and said, “You are a pastor, right? I am curious about faith. What does your faith mean to you?” She had started reading the Bible in Genesis and was super confused. I directed her to the gospels and told her that everything we can learn about God will come through the focal lens of Jesus.
She lives close to our space, is going to start coming to events, Elissa is going to start meeting with her, and she is excited to learn more about Jesus.
I am convinced that these things are happening because of your prayers. We couldn’t do this without you.
Our time at Forum with Rob Reimer has been great. Thanks for praying!
Pray for us as we engage with people over Easter weekend and then as our first short term team arrives next Tuesday.
Other prayer requests:
- Elissa’s back seems to be doing a little better. Please keep praying!!!
- We have open spots for interns this coming summer. Pray for people who can join us! Do you know someone who wants to complete a degree and serve overseas? Send them my email!
- The wastewater pipes in our office building are all bad. On Monday they started replacing the pipes in our space. This is super disruptive! Pray that the work goes quickly without delay. Not having use of our space with a team here means we may have to be more creative - can you pray for flexibility for all of us?
Praying you all of an amazing week of remembering the death of Jesus and a blessed celebration of his resurrection!
Thanks for praying!
