Dear praying friends,

Yesterday, I walked out of my apartment door to see a couple of inches of snow on the ground and covering the cars in my neighborhood. That was a pleasant surprise! This morning I needed to take my car to work, and I needed to clear that snow off of my car. The amount of time it took to clear the snow and scrape the ice off my windshield was an unpleasant surprise.

Halfway into January, I am surprised by how quickly this year is passing! Our team is busy getting ready to welcome a new intern next week, get a book off to the printer (we are waiting for our proof copies), finalizing budgets, getting ready to be part of launching one of our staff families (the Siemens) to launch Envision Manchester (which means shuffling some staff responsibilities, as well), and setting our goals for 2024.

Our final planning meeting for goals is tomorrow. Thanks for praying for that!

Some other requests:

1. My extended family has some health issues we have been praying for - my mom is recovering from both hip and knee replacement surgery and has been really suffering from some SI joint inflamation. My brother recently had major surgery and then had a reaction to his medication. Please pray for both of them!
2. Please pray for our new intern, Anna, who arrives in Berlin next week!
3. Envision's new residency program is accepting applications - can you pray for people to apply?
