Hi praying friends!

A team, a resident, and two new interns (for a total of 5 on-site now) - and suddenly, we are a hopping place! It is fun to see the energy, hear people interacting, and have the opportunity to engage in ministries and engage people in conversation.

Yesterday we were at a refugee home not far from our location in Weißensee. One of the ladies coordinating the project for us told me she is always so amazed when we bring a group (we were there last year as well) and how cheerfully the team worked, how little complaining they did, and how much they enjoyed interacting with the people there. So great to be able to display the love of Christ, to share that the students come from the same church, and to build opportunities to talk about the love of Christ. Amazing!

We also support some of the other ministries in Berlin with our aXcess colleagues. We can send an intern to help the Spanish team for the first time - and we are super excited to have someone to help them with the work they are doing. One of our residents is helping someone on the German team with a project. We have an intern supporting a partner ministry called The Limelight Collective - and get this: Several of our interns are being tutored by a German young lady who started her journey of faith through a ministry Elissa helps with each week. We can help her financially while she puts her schooling as a German teacher into practice.

Here are some prayer requests:

1. Pray for rest and recovery! Our last day with this team is tomorrow. We have had a blast - but two new interns have arrived at the same time as we had a team, and everyone is a little weary. Pray for our new interns to get over jet lag and our team to rest well!
2. Pray for Council as it continues this week.
3. Pray for our partner ministries. We love being able to resource them well as they do the work God has called them to do. Pray for our partners who are ministering to refugees, reaching out to Arabic speakers, German speakers, and Spanish speakers, and ministering to dancers. Our staff has also been able to support the Chinese Alliance church this past month!
4. We launch a new exhibit a week from today! Pray for the final details to come together well!
