Hi praying friends!

One of my favorite guilty music pleasures is a bluegrass cover band called the Cleverly's. They do covers of popular songs, and their newest album dropped this week with covers of Right Place Wrong Time, Let's Get it Started, Creep, Love Shack, and Gangnam Style (yes, bluegrass style....), and other songs. I can not listen to them and not both admire their talent and laugh.

I am NOT claiming that their incremental changes are better than the original! They are fun to listen to, though.

It got me thinking about the incremental changes we will be making at Envision Berlin in the coming weeks/months. Our last team for the summer is on the ground right now - and in the weeks after they leave we will be reviewing our schedules, our teaching times, and our materials to review what worked and what didn't and start to retool our "template" for next year.

We will also be doing our now overdue 2nd Quarter Retrospective and taking a closer look at how our programs and program plans match up with our Core Values - and making incremental changes.

Can you please pray for that process? As we are part of Envision's overall mission of identifying and developing the next generation of missional leaders, we also put our own Berlin spin on that. We want to be sure we are doing that as well as possible!

1. Caleb has moved into his new apartment. Pray for him as he settles in.
2. We have several interns concluding their internships at the end of August or early September. Please pray for all the transitions!
3. We have 2 new interns coming in September.
4. We have a team from Detroit Lakes, MN on the ground right now. Please pray for us and them! They just arrived yesterday and are feeling the jet-lag.
