Dear praying friends,

This morning we met with several other alliance workers in Berlin (both US and people with the German national church) for a prayer meeting we have with them once a month.

One of the other workers said, "I am constantly attacked while accomplishing nothing," commenting on the level of spiritual attack he feels in Berlin while seeing such limited results. He felt he could understand the level of spiritual attack if he were also seeing great results - but one of the common threads in Berlin seems to be that the work is incredibly hard and the spiritual oppression is also very high. Every milimeter of advance feels like it is hard fought for - as if it were one of the most precious battlegrounds in the world. And perhaps it is! Every soul matters.

Friends, we had a GREAT opening last week - so may beautiful works and artists interacting with us, the public, and each other. It was amazing - thank you for praying!

We have also had people stopping in to see the art while we hold gallery hours, which almost always leads to more conversations.

Here are some prayer requests for this week:

1. Pray for us as we do face spiritual battles here. I think a lot of us are feeling it this week.
2. Pray for our ongoing fundraising for our new space. The work continues - and we think it is probably realistic that it will be done the first week of December instead of the end of November - but it is fun to see the progress!
3. Pray for health! I am still coughing, and although the doctor says it is nothing to be concerned about, it is frustrating.
4. Pray for us as we start to work more closely with the new artists we have met. We will have lots of chances to interact with them over the next couple of weeks!
