Giving Thanks!

Hi praying friends!
One of the greatest things about being back in the US on Home Ministry Assignment is the opportunity to be with family for big holidays. This year, we get to celebrate twice!
Last week we were in Germantown, Wisconsin - near Milwaukee, and had the opportunity to have dinner with my Nephew and his wife.
We also got to host one of our favorite events from Berlin at Crossway - an opportunity for artists and creatives to share a project they are working on for 5 minutes and then have people in the audience give feedback and ask questions for 5 minutes. It was so great to see people showing their church family what they have created.
Over the weekend we also deepened some connections with our church partners at Crossway, see one of our aXcess colleagues, and hang out with people who have been in Berlin on short term teams or missions opportunities.
So - heading into the rest of this week, we are thankful! It has been an exhausting 3-months (we have been in 7 states and have driven 5800 miles), but are full of gratitude for our Alliance family.
The traveling is not done for us! Next Tuesday we fly to Europe to be a part of an Alliance gathering of US International workers. Please pray for safe travels for us and other Alliance workers!
Here are some other prayer requests:
- Pray for our son, Joshua, who finished up his school block and is now doing a Praxis week. He has a visa appointment for permanent residency on December 11th. Please pray for a good appointment!
- We will be going to Berlin for a few days after our conference. I will be able to go with Joshua to his visa appointment, and then we can spend some time with our team and seeing some people in Berlin. Please pray for productive and enjoyable times!
- My mom is continuing to recover from her back surgery - thank you for praying!
- Our team in Berlin is hosting several events over the next couple of weeks that continue our work of building relationships in our neighborhood and the artistic community in Berlin. Please pray!
Some of you are new to the list, and might not know a lot about Elissa and I. If you click here, you can sign up for 5 emails that will tell a little of our story!
What are you thankful for? We are also thankful for your prayers!!
Blessings,
mike
