Dear praying friends,

I used to have a podcast called "Unterwegs, the Enroute Podcast" - but found that having a show title with three languages was really confusing for people! It has been a multi-year process (mostly because I got really behind on it) moving our episodes to a new channel and tightening up the focus. Within the next few weeks, all of our old "Transitions across Cultures" episodes will be on the new channel. We have started recording new episodes, as well - and the second episode of season 2 - a season focusing on the new couple joining us in September (Joel and Kate Damon). Quick side-note here. Over the last couple of weeks, I have been able to take care of a lot of projects that have been really hard for me to get to, and it seems like I have more mental (and physical) energy. I am pretty certain that being on the CPAP machine has been a big help in this area, and am really grateful for your prayers as I have been getting adjusted to it!

This weekend 39 participants (interns and residents) will receive training from the Envision national office as they prepare to head out to their places of service in the coming weeks and months. Please pray for them! 2 interns and 1 resident will be coming to Berlin - and our team is excited to receive them. Pray for all the last-minute details (for them and us) that go into getting ready for their ministry.

And - a quick update on the property we are looking at renting. We are waiting to receive the contract to review. I had expected it on Monday but it has not been sent yet. Please pray for us when we receive it to be able to discern whether this is the right next step for Envision Berlin!

Here are some prayer requests for us:

1. This week we are heading to Wadena, MN. We will be speaking at events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pray for safe travels and for good connections.
2. Our Envision Berlin finances for 2022-2024 need to be submitted to the Finance Office by July 25. That seems like a long time from now, but our German financial advisor seems to always have a full plate, and it feels like we run into delays with him a lot. Can you please pray that everything goes smoothly (and quickly)?
3. Please pray for our Envision Berlin team. Like I wrote above, they are about to receive new interns and a new resident. In the next two months, they will have interns coming, a resident arriving, a short-term team arriving, and then will see a resident and an intern completing their time of service. It is a lot of transition! Pray for endurance.
