It’s been a while since we’ve hosted an event! Since the Give a Beat Records Launch and Single Release Parties for geriFree and Pelligroso, we’ve been focusing on our programs and organizational development to deepen our impact.

What has emerged is a new and developing Alumni Program led by On a New Track graduates. The Alumni have been meeting regularly and on June 22nd, we are coming together to support one our amazing grads, Sithy Bin.

We are thrilled to invite you to Party with a Purpose, marking the launch of the Path to Pardon campaign in collaboration with Give a Beat, #KeepSithyHome, and #KeepLauraHome deportation defense campaigns. Together, we're advocating for transformative justice and leadership, exemplified by individuals within our communities. We're calling on Governor Newsom to take action in restoring lives and investing in people's liberation.

The goal is to raise $5,000 to support Path to Pardon’s advocacy efforts. If you cannot attend, please consider a donation to cover the ticket of a system-impacted community member as well as contribute to the overall fundraising goal.

This event also marks the first Give a Beat Alumni co-produced event. Graduates from our On a New Track Reentry Mentoring Program have been gathering this year to outline a developing plan to continue to support current and future alumni in their livelihoods and creative career pursuits. Several alumni are planning the event, working on the production, and will be performing.
