Insurance Claw-backs

Dear MMHCA Members and All Michigan Counselors,

We need your help! 

We are excited to announce that a senior member of the Michigan Legislature is helping us explore the issue of limiting health insurance claw-backs in our state. 

What can you do? Are you a Michigan mental health professional who has had first-hand experience with an insurer taking back reimbursement for mental health services? If so, and you are willing to share your experience with us, please click this link to leave us your contact information. 

We will get back to you within a week with a short form for you to complete and share your experience. 

Why is this important?  This will help us gather vital information as we pursue legislation to limit health insurance claw-backs. 

What else can you do? Please pass along this link to any mental health professionals you know who have had claw-back experiences in the past. 

Thank you for your assistance on this important issue for Michigan LPCs and all mental health providers in the state.
