Several people have asked us about ways to become more involved in advocacy and policy matters. A very interesting opportunity is being offered by our colleagues at NASW-MI. They are putting on a training held over two sessions related on how to run for elected office. Our experienced perspective on healthcare, mental health and how policy effects people on a daily basis is often missing from government.
