Those parents who don't want to 'sleep when the baby sleeps' or feel the guilts of 'you only have x number of summers left with them' and would much rather write, design, build, create, learn, earn and/or upskill WHILE ALSO raising your family.... ⬇️

...a real live tractor forklift suspended Buzz Lightyear and a Minion parade to amuse you

...highlights from hosting Irish family and our local staycation spots

Some milestone moments for me included:

• 2/3 kids being able to apply their own sunscreen

• getting to sit in the water at a city beach and a waterpark, watch them swim with/without life jackets, not needing to hold onto anyone all of the time

• people remembering my work from the past and sharing how it impacted them

• reconnecting with former coworkers in the arts sector

• family reunions where we could bring some food and the kids, then actually eat our own meals and have adult conversations because everyone can play together mostly independently!

AND as of this week, we have all three kids in school AT THE SAME LOCATION for the first time ever. 🥳📯🎉

It will only last a couple of years but I'm rejoicing because the mental arithmetic of scheduling, drop offs, pick ups, correspondence and other logistics will be simpler for now.
