Hi friends,

We had an eventful and wonderful October here, with twin grandsons arriving in halfway through about four and a half weeks early. They had to spend a couple of weeks in the NICU learning the complicated tasks of maintaining their body temperature, breathing and eating. Funny how you don't think about those much until you watch preemies spend weeks struggling to learn it all.

But they came home this week, and we're the ones struggling to learn things now - lol.

It's a bit of a circus trying to figure out all the diapering, feeding, and pumping while both are attached to oxygen and monitors that alarm at all hours of the day and night.

We're very blessed, however, that they are both healthy and progressing well. Shouldn't be long until we're done with the oxygen and have the wonderful freedom of just picking up a baby and walking anywhere we want in the house.

This is all a reminder to count our blessings! <3

As you can guess, not much writing has been happening, but hopefully we'll get into a rhythm here soon.

Twins are awesome!

These guys are quite the scrunched up and squirming bundles of cuteness. And no, I'm not getting enough sleep, even taking turns with both mom and dad during the night. Crazy and wonderful at the same time!
