The safest way to enter after a breakout
Nov 30, 2025 3:31 am
Dear ,
Welcome to Day 2 of our 10-day technical journey.
Today, I want to teach you one of the simplest, safest, and most effective intraday entry techniques.
It works on Nifty, BankNifty, stocks, everywhere.
And once you learn it,
You’ll stop taking random breakout trades.
DAY 2 TOPIC: The Clean Breakout & Retest Entry
Most traders enter the moment the price breaks a zone.
That’s exactly where fake breakouts happen.
I got this realisation after getting trapped multiple times.
Professionals wait for something particular: a clean retest.
Let’s break it down in simple steps.
Step 1: Mark the Range
Every morning, the price usually stays inside a range.
Just draw:
- a line at the top (resistance)
- a line at the bottom (support)
Keep it clean.
Step 2: Wait for the Breakout
Let the market break the range with a strong candle.
But don’t enter here.
This is where 90% of traps occur.
Step 3: The Most Important Step, Retest
Price will usually come back to test the same level again.
If the breakout was genuine,
the old resistance becomes new support (and vice-versa).
This is the safest point in the entire move.
Step 4: Entry Trigger
Enter only when you see one of these signals on the retest:
- rejection wick
- bullish engulfing (for long)
- bearish engulfing (for short)
- a clean bounce candle
Keep it simple. No overthinking.
Step 5: Stop-Loss & Target (Simple Rules)
Stop-Loss:
Just below the retest level (for long)
Just above the retest level (for short)
Target:
- Target 1 - 1:2
- Target 2 - next structure level (Swing)
This keeps Risk: Reward clean and realistic.
Why This Setup Works So Well
Because you’re entering where institutions defend the level,
not where retailers chase the candle.
It reduces:
- fake breakouts
- emotional entries
- early stop-loss hits
- random trades
And increases:
- accuracy
- confidence
- clean chart reading
- discipline
Backtest/ Practice Now
Open your chart from the last 5–7 days.
Try to spot:
- breakout
- retest
- First clean entry candle
You’ll see how beautifully this setup appears almost every day.
Tomorrow (Day 3),
I’ll teach you a very useful concept:
The “Last Opposite Candle” Entry Trick
A simple way to find exact entry zones with sniper accuracy.
See you tomorrow.
And yes, reply to this email in case if you have any queries based on today's topic.
With Love & Respect
