I am pleased to report that MindBio Therapeutics has completed the acquisition of Life AI Corp, a life sciences focused technology company that is developing predictive technologies for enhancing health and wellness. It's most progressive technology in development is Booze AI, the world's first voice activated, AI powered blood alcohol estimator on a Smartphone!

Meanwhile, MindBio continues to progress dosing in two Phase 2B clinical trials due for completion late 2025.

1. Phase 2B, randomised, triple blind, double dummy, active placebo controlled trial in 90 patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder.
2. Phase 2B, randomised, double blind, placebo controlled trial in 40 patients with advanced stage cancer, suffering existential distress, depression and anxiety.

We are expecting these trials to complete towards the end of 2025 and we are pleased to report the results of a recent independent safety review reported no serious adverse events or side effects and the trials were approved for continuation by local regulators in New Zealand.

MindBio has made significant discoveries in its trials including discoveries related to drug intoxication and speech. MindBio's engineers are currently integrating algorithms developed at MindBio into the Booze AI software application to strengthen the validity and accuracy of blood alcohol predictions.

MindBio Using Big Data and AI Tools in Clinical Trials

The intellectual property being developed by MindBio draws from a large repository of data collected during years of clinical trials. Mobile software has been created by MindBio engineers to monitor patient’s adherence to dosage protocols, to deter misuse and immediately identify and report medication diversion to clinicians. The technology that MindBio has developed stores and analyses blood data, speech data, EEG, ECG, DNA, psychological data and biophysical information collected 24hours/7days a week from patient wearables ie. A Fitbit watch.  The algorithms draw from this broad source of data to create an authoritative diagnostic and prescription tool to precision target and dose patients who are likely responders to MB22001, Mindbio's lead candidate drug.

MindBio is now preparing to commercialize certain aspects of this technological IP through Life AI Corp and its first commercial product, Booze AI.
