Coming to you this week from 📍 Seattle, WA
Hi -

Help us double our subscriber count by March 2022 and make two Capricorns very happy - thanks for your support!
PNW vibes have squarely set in and we're enjoying being home... but our next destination has been determined! Here's one more dose of good ole' hometown fun before the next newsletter, which will be sent from... 4,8000 miles away!
👥 One article from us ~
- Midori has been putting together quick guides for our favorite cities around the Pacific Northwest for years. They've lived across personal websites, Medium, and more. But now we're bringing them into the fold on our Midori & Akaash blog. For those planning a trip to Portland anytime soon, check out her 24-hour travel guide to the city of Portland - it has all of our favorites.
🏋️ One guilt-free snack we love ~
- [Ad] We were introduced to these incredible date-based post-workout snacks by the folks at Date Me Energy last week at the My Better Half 10k in Seattle, WA (yes - we survived!). We've been hooked ever since! They're local. They come in really interesting flavors (the Reishi coffee bites are our favorites). Their packaging is entirely compostable. They're guilt-free perfection. If you're interested in checking them out, order a few sample packs now using our code, NOMAD15, for 15% off - shoot us a reply and let us know what you think!
🐥 One Tweet (thread) we've bookmarked ~
- Though we change locations, climates, etc. often, skincare remains a top priority for Midori (and me, though I'm lazier!). So we were thrilled to find this amazing Twitter thread by a reputed NYC dermatologist laying out the most comprehensive, digestible explanation of skin health and skincare we've ever seen. Check out the full thread here (first Tweet screenshotted below):
👖 One pair of jeans to rule them all ~
- Being home provides us with a short window to make wardrobe modifications. Naturally, traveling light demands intelligent clothing choices. That's why Midori and I both jumped on the chance to get another pair of our favorite jeans of all time from Everlane (I swear by the Men's Skinny Dark Indigo jeans) before taking to the skies. These things are infinitely comfortable and last years before showing the first signs of wear & tear. If you wear jeans often, these are worth the investment (yes, investment)!
As our time back in Seattle comes to a close, we're excited to be back on the road. Usually, this involves closing out our time here with a bang - if you've got any great ideas on how to make the most of our last few days here, let us know 😁 Until then, over and out!
🖼️ Hoping to be your muse for when you create your own 'Uncah Jams',
Akaash (& Midori)
