Instagram LogoYou guys voted and now we have the results for the TWO different groups we will be posting. This is the Green group & the Gold group was posted right after this post. Thank you for understanding that this year we were working with a completely new website platform as well as polling software. This means that we are just going to post the top votes and not the places as some of the votes may be skewed. Enter in the Green group who gathered their votes and didn’t exploit our crappy polling system. (Which, like I said in my last post, is totally our fault!). Their Michigan edible brands are at the top of the list of most honorable edibles in Michigan. These brands love their edibles so much they got their friends and family to vote for them. We commend them for participating. This list is NOT in order though! That is definitely our fault, you see the polling system we used was a free system. if you read our last post you know that legitimacy = money. Next time we will be putting money into a system that will block multiple votes from the same IP, fingerprint, and/or gathering emails to verify a person's vote. With that being said we would still like to thank all the brands and voters for participating. This helps us out to make this poll more legit, fun, and rewarding from here on out! Check out the Gold group of winners on the previous post Thank you to these edible brands: @wellijuana_meds @waterboy_extractions @spurtzcandy @organic_mechanic78 @pokesatbear @midnightrootsedibles @mamadanks420 @litkatzfactory @lildebib @kween_keeks_710 @intricateimmersions @hightechcannabis @funky_extracts @alternativelywell @dippedindelightdesserts #captainkirkedibles
Instagram LogoFirst of all, thank you so much for participating in our Best Edibles in Michigan 2020 poll. ??⠀ ⠀ I am receiving some concerns based on the poll’s ‘legitimacy’ and I want to clear some things up for the community.⠀ ⠀ I am a self-taught internet digital marketer who has been reading blogs and sinking hours and resources into learning how to do these things. And I will admit, I’m not perfect at all of this, I just do what works.⠀ ⠀ With that being said, I would like to remind everyone that this is a free competition that was intended for fun only. There aren’t any prizes or trophies, just some Canva graphics made by me!⠀ ⠀ To be honest: I wish I could run a completely seriously legit poll. The problem lies in time and money. Think of the presidential race, how many millions of dollars does it cost to do that? Legitimacy = money. I also would never take money that I didn’t know wasn’t going to bring value to the customer. I don’t want to take money from anyone then have the poll shut down either! I need to do everything as legit as possible. Even though in the Michigan Cannabis community we feel like we are all legit (and I agree) the laws still state you have a license to sell edibles. ⠀ ⠀ I feel as though the way the poll is set up is more beneficial to me and these brands that are participating. By "gamifing" the system, they are promoting their brands in a fun game. As I see it, if these people are willing to take their time getting as many votes as possible, those edibles must be BOMB. I am sorry if you don’t personally agree with that.⠀ ⠀ Of course, I wanted to have a "democracy" vote, unlike judges vote in a HighTimes competition. I also feel like the more people vote the more they like the edibles and then that still makes sense for the best edibles.⠀ ⠀ *continued in the comments* ???
