Hi !
Greetings from the Netherlands!
I tried to make our cat Jasmien help me with promoting my book, so I put the book next to her and even on top of her trying to find a good picture. She didn’t even wake up for the first few minutes I was bothering her, and when she did, she just glanced at the book with complete disinterest, put her leg over it, and continued sleeping. Cats, am I right?
Just like every cat we’ve ever had, she’s named after a Disney character, by the way. In this case, it’s princess Jasmine from Aladdin, but with the Dutch spelling.
Do you like watching Disney movies? Which one is your favorite, and why?
Writing updates
The editing on book 2 is taking longer than I anticipated, but it’s coming along well. I’m currently planning to release it in October, but I will keep you updated on the official release date!
In the meantime, I’m having a hard time deciding on the title for the second book. (Yes, I’m still debating on it, even though I’m already this close to publishing!) So, I’ve created a little poll with my two final choices and I would love for you to fill it in and help me out!
And lastly, the cover for the book isn’t completely done yet, but here is a little sneak peek of the part that is done:
New blog posts!

Be sure to check out my other books, including my debut novel Lucky, The Last Traveler, book 1 in the Magic’s Source series, The Essence of Magic, and book 1.5 in the Magic’s Source series, The White Eclipse.
Reviews
A while back, I received my first 1star review. And even though the review didn't reflect my book at all (it was from someone who thought they were buying a non-fiction book and was therefore disappointed it turned out to be fantasy), it still got me pretty down.
But then a few days ago, I got a great review on a blog called The Reading Bud, which really helped me get over my 1star blues.
As you can see, reviews are really important in the bookselling world, so if you've read my books and liked them, please remember to leave a review. Even one or two kind lines can make all the difference!
