Hi ,
Greetings from the Netherlands!
With the release of my newest book quickly approaching, I’m both very excited and very nervous! It will probably lead to a few sleepless nights at the end of the month, but who needs sleep anyway?
Writing update
The Essence of Magic, book one in the Magic’s Source series will be available on March 30th and I’m so happy to share the beautiful cover with you!
A girl trying to keep her family safe.
Strange creatures trying to kill them.
Can the Magic’s Source give her the help she needs?
Thera has always known that she’s different from her wonderful, loving human family. However, that would mean that she’s one of the specials, beings of legends – but how could it be, when no human has seen them for hundreds of years?
A visit from a masked stranger who warns her of danger and an attack on her village shatter the life that she knew. Forced to flee with her mother and her younger siblings, Thera finds temporary shelter in special territory, in the home of a beautiful special named Raven.
She needs more than temporary shelter, though. She needs a way to keep her family truly safe. The Magic’s Source might help with protection, but will Thera dare to seek it out and try to get some magic of her own?
And if she does, what kind of magic will she receive, and what new dangers will she find herself in?
Now that the book is almost here, I’m looking for ARC readers.
ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy, and it means that you’ll receive the finalized book from me before the release date in exchange for a review once it goes live.
I’m looking for people who love fantasy (of course) and who are eligible to give reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads.
If you’re interested, check either of these links for a copy:
Recommendations
This month I would like to recommend Invasion, the newest book by Amanda Fleet.
Invasion is book four in Amanda’s incredible Guardians of the Realm series and it’s only $0.99 until March 31st, so be sure to get your copy quickly!
Invasion – Guardians of The Realm 4
Five years have passed, and the Guardians and the people of The Realm have reached a new, albeit tetchy, equilibrium. The threat of civil war bubbles constantly, but so far, the Guardians have kept control.
It won’t take much for that to change.
People are going missing from one of the villages, returning days later, emaciated, exhausted, and claiming to have been forced to work on a building in a strange world. Where are they being taken? And who is taking them there?
The foe threatening The Realm is far more sinister than the rogue Guides. They could destroy everything the Guardians rely on. Far from being the protectors of The Realm, the Guardians could be forced to be its destroyers.
Can Aeron and Faran find a way to save The Realm without sacrificing everything they hold dear? Or will The Realm finally fall?
Haven’t read the first three books in the series? No problem, because they are on sale as well!
The Guardians of The Realm Box-Set (Books 1-3)
A century ago, the rogue Guide Aegyir killed millions of people before finally, he was trapped, deep inside the ground. He’s now escaped, and he’s determined to have revenge on the woman who imprisoned him: Aeron, one of the top warriors of The Realm.
And he thinks he’s found her. Except she swears she’s called Reagan Bennett and has no knowledge of Aegyir, The Realm, or the millions of deaths he caused before he was trapped.
Now, he’s killing again, and the deaths are getting closer to Reagan. She needs to figure out who Aegyir is, before he slaughters everyone she loves. And to do that, she needs to figure out who she really is.
Follow Reagan’s story from Cumbria to The Realm in the first three books of The Guardians of The Realm series.
