The Tariff “Scare” is Over — "Surprise, Surprise"
Hey
So... Trump just announced he’s cutting most of the same tariffs he once aggressively pushed. Big shocker, right?
For those of us paying attention—this was always the plan.
Tariffs created fear. Fear triggered market dips. Dips triggered panic selling.
Then boom—tariffs are rolled back, and markets rally.
This is how the game is played.
The real tragedy? Most people play along without realizing they’re being played.
We talked about this just days ago.
Tariffs are often not about economics—they're about emotion.
They stir the pot, shake confidence, and manufacture the exact volatility that lets institutional investors buy low—while everyday investors sell out.
If you're tired of letting headlines dictate your wealth-building strategy, it's time to get on the other side of the game.
- Know your goals and purpose for investing.
- Invest for the long haul.
- Think long term.
- Have no fear.
- Check your emotions regularly and maintain a stoic attitude.
- Save your energy and emotions for real life
- Build a portfolio that lasts
- Study the charts and facts, or talk to someone who does.
And most importantly, don't get played by the system. Use the system to your advantage.
Oh and of course, buy the dips. ;-)
Hope this helps,
Michael
PS: I know the Canadian election just finished...
More on that in a few days.
