Music at the Meridian is tonight

Jul 27, 2023 2:59 pm

Join us on Thursday nights at The Lawn. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Local opener James Dean Acoustic starts at 5:30pm. At 6:30pm, The Clover Fold take the Music at the Meridian stage.

Hailing from the collision of Southeast South Dakota and Southwest Minnesota, The Clover Fold is a six-piece songwriting cooperative of multi-instrumentalists whose personal tales and collective songs are forged in the lush humid heat of Midwest summers and quenched in the bleak bitter freeze of Great Plains winters. Original songs sharing unique perspectives on the age-old topics of life, love, and loss are richly layered in full harmonies while aspects of classic Americana, outlaw country, and traditional folk weave throughout.

Ben's Brewing Co. will be there with cold adult beverages including a Levee Street Wheat made just for the event! Tito's + Lemonade slushies are on tap. Strawberry Blonde, West Side Park, Kenny Pepper, some non-alcoholic beer, and Carbliss ready to drink cocktails will be served, too.

On this night we'll have food options from Broken Trellis and Craig's Shave Ice.

The Meridian District Art Project sold out all of the tiles for art last week, but there will be a new project to work on tonight.

Bring water. Keep cool. See you soon.
