It was great to be back with my Mercy Vineyard Church family on Sunday!
I really miss worshipping with you when I'm on vacation.
I just wanted to connect real quick to invite you to the all-church camp out and retreat if you haven't already signed up.
Last year, we decided to plan this event, and it was an experiment to see if it was worth doing. To our surprise, it quickly became one of the most popular events that the church has ever done. Not only was it spiritually significant, but it was loads of fun for the whole family.

Also, it's that time of year when we all bring candy for trick-or-treaters on Halloween.
Our Neighborhood Halloween Party has blessed several hundreds of our neighbors over the years, and we just love to bless the kids (and adults) around here in fun ways.
You can drop a bag or two of the good stuff on the coffee counter over the next few Sundays.
Last (but not least) our all-church prayer and fast is coming Sunday and Monday, October 8th and 9th.
On those two nights, we'll be meeting at 6:00pm for prayer and worship. This is always a wonderful time to connect with Jesus and seek Him for our friends and families.
