!
This Sunday begins three days of prayer and fasting together as a church.
John Wesley once said, "God does nothing except in response to believing prayer."
One of the reasons that I like this quote is that it's a great reminder. We want God to work in our lives. We want Him to bless our church, transform our community, heal our relationships and provide for our needs. But we often neglect to set time aside to be with Him, to pray, fast, and listen for His voice.
Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God rewards those who diligently seek Him.
That's why we're calling an all-church prayer and fast. Because we believe that He hears our prayers, loves our prayers, and responds to our prayers.
So, fast a meal or two during this time. Join us for prayer and worship on Sunday and Monday night. Believe that our Father is going to meet us and answer our prayers.
I can't wait to see what God is going to do!
See you Sunday!
