Hey !
On Sunday, I told the story of how my big brother got a laugh when he shoved Cheetos up his nose. Then, when a younger kid imitated him, he ended up with a huge nose-bleed. It was hilarious for me and my brother, but terrifying for the kid.
My brother didn't mean to send a message that other people should do as he did. It's just something that happened naturally because he was getting a laugh.
Remember, our lives are a message to others. Our attitudes transfer. Our fears spread. Our joy is contagious. Our cause inspires.
Right now, more than ever, we need the letter of our lives to be life-giving.
Please, let that last sentence soak in for a moment.
Our example of trusting Jesus, following His words, and giving thanks may be the only hopeful thing that those around us have to encourage them. Let's really spur each other on to be a letter of Good News to those around us.
The world needs us to be that.
And, just in case YOU'RE needing an enjoyable message, here's one:
You're welcome.
Keep being a light!
See you Sunday!
