Hello !
What do Winter 2021, a pandemic, and a vacuum cleaner all have in common?
They all suck.
Honestly, I've been feeling a lot like this guy...
Sometimes, in the middle of it all, it's hard to imagine a life without the cold, without sickness, and without a feeling like the cloud hanging over your head will ever let the sun shine through.
On Sunday night (at Holy Spirit Night), I believe the Lord lead me to share Song of Solomon 2:11-13. It says, "Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air. The fig trees are forming young fruit, and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming. Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one!”
I love that, no matter what we're going through, it will pass. Spring will come, pandemics will end, the carpet will get clean.
And, best of all, the Father is always calling us to come and be close to Him. Always reaching out His hand and inviting, "Come away with me!"
I love Him for it.
I hope you make time to respond to Him and let Him bring a Spring thaw into your life.
You rock.
See you Sunday!
