Mercy Tribe,
What a great weekend!
First of all, the Catalyst Day of Prayer was powerful. We heard testimonies of how God brought encouragement, conviction, & direction - even reconciliation in relationships. Our time together that evening stirred faith and hope in a meaningful way.
Many of you stepped out to invite friends, family, neighbors, co-workers to Share Sunday. We celebrate those invitations! The room was nearly full, we welcomed guests, and we believe Jesus met people and brought healing to hearts.
If you invited someone and they didn't come, we want to encourage you:
Your invitation was not in vain.
You stepped out in obedience to the call of the Great Commission, and your person now knows you are someone they can have spiritual conversations with.
Don't stop - invite them again.
Many of the people who are part of our church today were invited more than once before they came.
Keep the conversation going.
Look for natural opportunities to talk about faith - and listen well. People don't have to come to church first in order to come to Jesus.
And let's keep praying for them together!
Whether your person came or not, Easter is a great next step. People are often more open to attending church on holidays like Easter. Invite them to join you at Mercy — it could make an eternal difference.
Thank you for the way you continue to LOVE well, GROW in your journey with Jesus, and GO by following his way of servanthood. You are making a difference — both in our community and in the lives of those who have yet to come.
Living a Passionate Mission,
Lee & Wendy
