This week's news

How has your week gone? I have been BUSY! I've been writing, a lot, I made a trip to Tucson (3 hours each way) to help her get things finished after a 6 month long restoration after a sewage leak, and I got my direct shop set up. Right now it's only got ebooks, but for now, you can get those right from me! I will be adding more but this is what I have on hand at the moment. I need to make an order before putting paperbacks in the store.

I'm up to 70% on the super secret project, then I'll be back to the Demented Souls books.

You can get my books directly from me through my Fourth Wall store.

If you missed it, Jake is LIVE!!

As for future books, Sackett releases in April and Talon is set for July!

If you want a chance to get ARC copies (as in, get added to my ARC list) just hit reply to this newsletter and say so! I'd love to send you free ebook copies so you can review them! (and I don't require contracts or threaten to sue if you don't leave a review!)

With new books coming out all the time, I don't always remember to get them in here, so check out my pre-order page! I also have new translations going up for sale all the time, so if you're looking to read in another language, go check out the translations section on my website.

Nearly all my books have some kind of audio version through Audible, Kobo and Google. If that's your thing, go check them out! They're also all available (in audio and ebook) from Kobo Plus, so if you're into subscription services, it's the one I use and I highly recommend Kobo Plus!

The Black Noel

It's December, 1944 and L.A. detective Danny Diamond is the hero of the hour. After solving the heinous Black Noel Murder, he and his partner are invited to a Christmas party at a powerful judge's home to celebrate their triumph of law and order.

It would be wonderful if it wasn't all a sham.

Diamond attends begrudgingly, still upset about the course of the case. The only bright point of the evening is the judge's wife. She alone seems to see through the political charade. She's young, blonde, and oh-so-willing, a surefire recipe for trouble. But can the detective control his anger and his libido when his career is on the line?

Of course not. This is Danny Diamond we're talking about.

"The Black Noel" is a novelette-length work of approximately 10,000 words. The events depicted were alluded to in the first Danny Diamond mystery novel, The Money Shot.

Jumping Feet First

imageHe had a job to do. She had a home and livelihood to save. Could they even survive?

James is a wild land firefighter tasked with getting one stubborn woman out of the path of the blaze. But when she refuses what can he do? He hates to see her arrested but if it's the only way to save her life, he'll do it. He's trying to save not just her place but the entire town. Can he manage it?

Allison wasn't about to leave the animals she'd come to see almost as pets behind to die. She wasn't entirely stupid, she'd done everything she could to protect her little farm but with no way, nor time, to get the animals out, she was willing to die with them if that's what it took. But that stubborn firefighter just wouldn't leave her alone.

When the flames get even closer, sparks fly in more than one sense of the phrase. Can they make things work or was it just the heat of the moment?

Find out how hot the fires burn between James and Allison, get your copy of Jumping Feet First now!
